5. Risk for Activity Intolerance - Bronchial Asthma Nursing Care Plans

Inadequate oxygen in the circulation can develop weakness in our muscles. Muscles need oxygen to move and to do its function. If the patient cannot tolerate any activities because of the low oxygenation caused by the ventilation-perfusion imbalance caused by the pathological minimized lung expansion.

Other possible nursing care plans can include: Deficient knowledge especially for patients who’s hospitalized because of bronchial asthma for the first time. Teach them on how to cope up with this problem.

Nursing goal for patients with bronchial asthma is to establish effective respiration so watch out for any signs of respiratory distress (SOB, DOB, pallor, nasal flaring, adventitious breath sounds etc).
