Letter W: June – July 2012 Nursing Board Exam (NLE) Results List of Passers

The June 2012 Nursing Board exam results conducted by BON last June 30-July 1, 2012 together with the official list of board passers, topnotchers, top performing schools and performance summary of colleges and universities were released after 36 working days after the licensure examination.

Out of 60,895 nursing board examinees, 27,823 (45.69%) passed the licensure examination. The board examination was given by the Professional Regulation Commission and Board of Nursing at different testing centers in the Philippines, specifically:  Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, La Union, Laog, Legazpi, Lucena, Nueva Ecija, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga. The July 2012 NLE was spearheaded by the Board of Nursing headed by its chairman, Carmencita M. Abaquin.

Pursuant to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice”.

Registered nurses are required to register on a given date by the PRC. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. Registration for new nurses who passed the July 2012 NLE shall require the following:

1. Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (download it here)
2. Current Community Tax Certificate (cedula),
3. 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag),
4. 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag),
5. 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and
6. Pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2011-2014.
